WHAT TO PREPARE FOR PHYSICALLY.
Hunting in New Mexico can be tough. We hunt anywhere from 5000 - 10000ft elevation. Being physically prepared to hunt at elevation is tough. We will do our best to accommodate all hunters, but being in hunting shape can be the difference between a successful and unsuccessful hunt. We recommend being able to walk a minimum of 5 miles over rugged terrain with at least 30 lbs in your pack.
WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE IN NEW MEXICO DURING HUNTING SEASON?
Weather in New Mexico is unpredictable. Most of New Mexico is considered a high desert with a arid climate. We have had hunts where the weather is in the 90's all the way down to 0 degrees. Bring clothes for various temperatures and large temperature swings.
